JLanguageLearn is a generic language learning course. Written in Java, it uses XML to define different lesson types.

There are currently seven types of lessons.

Gap Lesson
GapTyping Lesson
Grid Lesson
Conjugation Lesson
Puzzle Lesson
Relation Lesson
PhraseTyping Lesson

JLanguageLearn also contains an editor to create lessons without knowledge of XML.

What's New

Version 1.4:

Contains a new type of lesson, Info lesson. This type serves as entry point to a new unit or chapter as information. The content is basically an html page which is displayed in the dialog, such that nearly everthing is possible in this lesson type.

PPC / Intel, Java 1.5 or later.

I downloaded the cluster of files - consists of a folder with many files that installs into the Applications Folder. It includes an uninstaller as well. When I saw that many of the files were .exe files, I used the uninstaller and zapped the whole package. Interesting to me, the zapper zapped the folder, leaving NOTHING behind - not a trace in my trash to delete, just POOF!

I didn't try the program, because to me, .exe spells PC. -mtc
