Version 1.2:
- When copying or merging, we now show determinate progress while caching album artwork data, since that can take a while
- We now prevent the iTunes license agreement window from coming up more than once after updating to a new version of iTunes
- Fixed a crash that could occur when copying tracks or fixing dead tracks
- PowerTunes 1.2 now requires at least OS X 10.5.8 and iTunes 10.0
- Fixed a crash that could occur when reloading a library stored on a network drive
- When copying to a library where iTunes insists on displaying the license agreement upon launch, the copy no longer fails with a -1708 error
- Fixed a drawing problem that could occur in the "My Rating" column with certain tracks
- Creating a new library within a symlinked folder no longer adds two new items to the library list
- Corrected an issue where the "Switch Media Folder" command would not work in some cases
- Fixed an issue where the wrong media folder would be displayed in PowerTunes for some libraries
- When using "Find Orphans", if there are both SD and HD versions of a video file, the SD version is no longer identified as an orphan
- Fixed a crash that could occur after something prevented a new library from being created successfully

I did just test it out on 2 secondary iTunes Library. Not my main one.
After stating my main iTunes again all my settings had been reset to default!
Yes even my Podcasting settings. Suddenly it started to download al kind of crap from Podcasts I had unsubscribed long ago!
Not Fun. You are warned! Beware.

I tried it with iTunes 771 after having lost lots of informations through various iTunes updates since version 6 and having to merge music and libraries between a MacMini and my ex-Powerbook to my actual iMac G5: Thanks to PowerTunes I could recover, reorder quite everything in less than a pair of hours.
It deserves 5 stars for everything, nothing compares to it and yes, it's always a pity to see that shareware authors do a better job than Apple (since ages...).
Nevertheless,I find it a bit expensive because you will use it once to reorder everything and then you'll swear not having the same mess again between your computers before needing it! :-)
10 bucks would be a more reasonnable price.
(if you just need separate libraries without any interaction between them iTunes Library Manager is perhaps a more reasonnable choice)
Except for that, it's a must have!!!

Multitunes is nice too, because it's integrated in iTunes, but doesn't detect what library you're using if switching directly with iTunes startup shortcut instead (and is definitely too expensive! 16$).
