Its has enough features but just need to expanded a little more!
for example:
Watermark:
1. It is very cool to be able to add watermark but it could be more cool if we could set an exact location of the watermark.
it is possible to set up-left/right down-left/right center etc but is not possible to off-set let's say x:-3 y:-3 (just to give a bit of space)
2. one more thing that watermark is missing is to be able to add a "stroke" or "outline" call it what ever you want.
If i set the watermark color blue and there is a photo with a sea the watermark with be not visible! But if we are able to add an outline lets say 3px black , it will be always visible.
Rename:
rename is also handy but it is actually more a name search & replace than a real rename.
This mean if a drop in 10 images and want to rename them like test-01, test-02, test-03 etc etc. it is not possible.
rename feature could be improved to let user choose for a new name and give him an option to auto number with 1 (1-2-3) 2 (01-02-03) or 3 digits (001-002-003). Also a feature would be a "starting number" in case we have already some named pictures and want to add some more into the same album. for example ...start numbering from: 05
Output:
this is also cool to be able to choose if you want to overwrite the original pictures or to save the resized in to new location/folder
BUT!!!
if this wasn't available into the global preferences we may could save the output info to the presets as well!
I cant think of anything else.
Anyway, overall it is a very nice, simple to use program and i have to say a big thanks to the developer for offering this for free!
If some of the mentioned improvements of the existing features will be added one day then i dont think there will a competition ;-)

The most useful features for me are the reflection effect - now I can add reflections to icons - and the batch reformat of images to PDF. I know just another freeware which have the second feature - JamesJr.

I put some of the new features -- in particular the drop shadow and reflection effect -- to immediate use and it works great.

The best resizer I've found for Mac is the FREEWARE 'ThumbsUp',
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/11898/thumbsup
ThumbsUp can not only create thumbnails or icons for images and movies.
ThumbsUp goes far beyond, it's a superfast batch image resizer, a format converter (for example jpg to tiff, etc.) and ThumbsUp can sharpen (!) and antialias (!) the images (not only the thumbs as falsly stated in the manual) and can do all that in one fast step.
...and yes, ThumsUp is FREEware.
But if anybody want to spend 20 dollars for additional flipping and rotating, BatchResize is the right place.
Or, I've recently discovered the big secret that Mac OS X's Preview flips and rotates for free...
I think ResizeMe is far to expensive, (a quarter of a whole operation system, OS X)
therefore I don't give more than one star

I recommend other software like Imagewell, Sizerox and Downsize.
They offer much more, work stable and had a better price.
