Connected to my Mac via a USB cable (although wireless also works), I just used DiskAid to copy from my iPhone to my Mac all of my Voice Memos, Notes, Contacts, Photos, Messages, Call History log, and Camera Roll in a matter of minutes. I had no more...

"With DiskAid you can also transfer files and folders betwen your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and your computer and view them on the go using FileApp free files browser."

Really? When I click on the link in DiskAid, FileApp opens in an iTunes store preview at a cost of $0.99 - not a huge amount but not free as advertised. Am I supposed to have a voucher that I somehow missed or have they just not updated their info in a while...?

Switch from iExplorer to Diskaid. Cheaper, doesn't crash and plain easy to use.

Up until 6.7.2, this application has worked under 10.6.8, however, with both versions 6.7.3 and 6.7.4, the software no longer functions; it bombs.

This is not good news.

Either the developer needs to declare 6.7.2 to be the end of support for OSX 10.6.8 or a remedy is needed.

Help, developer! I tried to contact you by your e-mail support but when I tried to set up an account your security system wouldn't accept any message from me (I can give you details if you want). I need to know one thing before investing in this product. I want to transfer my music library from my Mac to my iPod. On my Mac the music is stored in lossless format, but I want to transfer it to my iPod in MP3 format. Can DiskAid handle this for me? Tell me it can and I'll make an immediate purchase.

App worked just fine until I updated it to 6.7.0 – now it just cannot connect my iPhone and iPad either thru’ USB or WiFi. Though I didn’t restart my Mac since. I’ll update this comment later on if it works.

Anyway, it the app works, it’s amongst the best ones. :)

No solutin yet, tried restarting all devices and my computer, resetting mobile services in preferences, now iPhone works, iPad does not. (Just a bit weird stating in the 6.7.0 update notes it has “improved Wi-Fi connection stability”. :)

Don’t worry, I won’t give it up, it has already worked once, so it must work sometime too. Just have to find out, how. :)

That's super weird - so sorry about that - could you check/confirm that both the iPhone and the iPad run on iOS 7.1.1 and iTunes 11.2.2 is on your Mac? Which error message do you get if any?
What happens instead if applicable? (We haven't had such reports so far, we might be able to investigate and find out easier if you'd open a support ticket :)

OK, I got it. “Trust this device”, for God’s sake! :)

The problem was that after upgrading to iOS 7.1.1 and iTunes (current version) I had to re-trust (or what the heck it is called) my iPad in iTunes. After that everything went just fine. My iPhone still runs 7.0.6, so it worked with DiskAid’s (and therefore iTune’s) previous settings. Now my iPad can connect on Wi-Fi and cable too.

Thanks fo your response, anyway.

Hey royaljerry that's good news - So sorry about that we should emphasise to always make sure devices are trusted to connect to the computer!

It unregistered itself after an update, and now it want to connect "again" to register. I hate applications that requires to register online, even more if it unregisters itself after an update so I have to allow it to connect. I just think I won't be needing it anymore.

Sorry about that but going online is so far the best way for us to check for the license - and awfully sorry it unregistered you, probably a connection glitch, but we shall review this process in a future version. Please keep the feedback coming!

Connected to my Mac via a USB cable (although wireless also works), I just used DiskAid to copy from my iPhone to my Mac all of my Voice Memos, Notes, Contacts, Photos, Messages, Call History log, and Camera Roll in a matter of minutes. I had no music or videos, else I would have been able to copy those from the device to my computer, too.

Finder on the Mac tells me that the data in everything but my Voice Memos use up less than 1 MB each; the Voice Memos are using 170 MB of space on that iPhone. Now that I have those voice memos transferred to my computer, I can reclaim that space by deleting them on the iPhone, not by DiskAid, but by iTunes next time I sync.

This is a pretty slick and elegant piece of software! You can live without it, but it certainly is nice to have for those times when you want to quickly and easily the data on your iPhone or iPad and bring that stuff over to your computer.
