I don't understand, become one my Update Antidote ... they said that it's the last version on Mac ... Version Antidote HD v6.1 , and you said that the last is the 7.6.1 ... what's happened ?

I haven't yet had the new version in my hands for long, but so far it looks like a nice upgrade on the previous version. I especially like the integration in Mail.

How do you get Antidote to work from the website download? I click download, but when I get to the installation screen I get an error.

I didn't have any problem installing. Is the app in /Application ?? Maybe it went through after all :-

When I click on download then I get this message when I try to install it:
Cet installateur fait la mise a jour de Antidote, qui se trouve dans /Application/Antidote HD.app

It looks like you tried to run the updater without having the application installed on your Mac before.
You need to have the full version to install the update…

Excellent spelling and grammar cehcker. Really good!!! I used to be a Correcteru 101 user. The 101 is more or less a thing of the past now and not only did Antidote surpass it's performances as a spelling and grammar checker, but it has an exceptional integration in most major software - and now even Office 2008.
Really good app!

A really excellent French spell checker, grammar and vocabulary dictionnary, absolutly well integrated with the applications it is compatible but still well usable anyway with the others.

As a French editor I have been using this program for close to ten years (it was launched in 1996) and this version 7, which now integrates with Office 2008, is a gem! It it not perfect but is clearly far ahead of its competitors. A definite five-star rating for me!

This is clearly a mistake. Current version of Antidote HD is 5.1.

The latest update is in fact v.7.5.1. If you have Antidote HD installed on a Mac, look in your Applications: you'll see the version shown is 7.5.1. But you are right that when we open the app itself, it shows only the last update increment number (5.1).
