iCal Dupe Deleter is a straight-forward application to aid the removal of duplicate events and todos in iCal. It allows the selection of individual calendars for testing, shows the number of duplicates found and displays the progress of deletions.

I searched everywhere for a product like this. I was so frustrated by so many duplicates. Very clean application and easy to use.

Funktioniert nicht.
Das von ical dupe erstellte backup lässt sich von ical nicht wiederherstellen (10.6.6 und "alter Kalender")

Worked perfectly for me, quickly removing over 300 duplicates. And, when I had a question, the author responded very quickly. Couldn't ask for more.

I have completely deleted ical. I can not have my iphone appointments deleted, two months Worth. far to important.

i have tried to use the application numerous times today.

My ical is extremely problematic but each time i do and it seems successful i sync and replace the cloud. then when i come back the duplicates are back!

i have done this a few times and the problem continues.
numerous duplicates.

The frustration you feel with you see that one sync has erased part of your calendars is similar to that you feels when you see a lot on duplicate events, be on your phones/touchs, be on iCal. MobileMe seemed a good idea but I have wasted too much time with things like these. For me, this is the first and the last year of subscription.
iCal Dupe Deleter does in a breeze what it's a long and tedious work for you.
John deserves the donation. So, he can develope little gems like this.

Nice little app to delete the duplicate events that show up when you're syncing calendars. Be nice & donate if you like it.

I have tried to use this software but it de-dupes so well that it deletes nearly every ical entry I have - I assumed that if I had say "dinner" in five times for tonight that it would delete four and leave one. But it removes all of them - am I doing something wrong?
