There are so many bugs to make it completely useless.
I am not able to produce a HD video with music longer than 3 mins (I am working with a Mac Pro dual quad core 2,8GHz 16 GB Ram)
The customer support is not existing (no answer)
DO NOT PURCHASE THAT SOFTWARE: it is money loss

I like the products of Aquafadas, and worked with pulpmotion advanced 2 a lot. Yesterday I upgraded to 3, without paying proper attention to the system requirements. A real pitty, it did not work on my computer, my graphic card is to slow.
I went to their support system, and they were really friendly and responsive, as always. I like it when a company is responsive. They gave me, without any troubles, a refund - even when they shouldn`t, because it was my fault in the first place of not paying attention carefully to read and verify the system requirements.
I like open source software a lot, because it is free. Yes, Aquafades asks money, and sometimes a lot of money for upgrades (in my opinion), but in the end, as I feel, it is worth it.
I hope I can buy sooner or later a better computer, to be able to use Pulpmotion Advanced 3 - I use Bannerzest Pro from Aquafades also on my sites, and it shows really nicely (feel free to see it in action: http://www.MandalaColoringMeditation.com).
I wish they would make Pulpmotion advanced fit for my three year old (or young) Macbook. A pitty new software means mostly also more expensive computers.
Kindly,
Steven

In fact I own other Aquafadas software, BannerZest and SnapFlow and the same is true of them in that what they do simply can't be done as well or as quickly any other way. I have incorporated all of them into my workflows and the results on my web sites are stunning.
People think I produce the most amazing web sites and my skills are very high. In truth I utilize amazing software like this to relieve myself of the technical obstacles and just concentrate on the creative side of the work. For someone who who wants to concentrate on the art, not the tech, this is GOLD!

That's not totaly correct. The Screensaver doesn't work under 10.6. It's interesting that the user can't get any informations about this on the page. OK, it't a smal bug at the moment, but why this company have a problem to wrote this down?
It's typical for this company... I bought a license for PM 1 (standard) a very long time ago.
The app was very buggy... Some of the bugs or missed typical features came first with the new version 2 (like a music timeline or a much faster access to the iLife lib).
Now we have PM2 including a advance version to get an access to Aperture (wow... A lot of apps get an free access to booth photolibs... iPhoto and Aperture) and if i would to upgrade to PM2 Advance, i must pay around 60 Euros for it. Great deal my friends, but thanks again for the testrun.
This company made software who looks amazing, but you got unfinished work. I think this company have much amazing ideas but to much projects and not so much persons who work on it. And it's strange that this company give no informations about themself or planed updates/problems on the own blog since 2008.
Be careful with this company.

I think they have really clever and good ideas on software like the iDive which have paid it's self several times in my work.
BUT! I do feel that they do not finish the software before releasing them. Like the Pulp Motion Standard ((2 licences) does not work 100%. It has some fatal bugs like extra frames in rendered projects = useless in any commercial use...
So the question is, even if the software idea is great but if the one I have bought does not work why would I buy a new version?
Please do fix the software before upgrades/new versions and more money... As customer we should have some rights?

It's very buggy.
So far it has crashed once, and I lost some of my work.
Later, while saving a file I was working on, I got a message saying that the file had been saved by another application or something to that effect.
At times it is slow and unresponsive on a G5 Dual 2 GHz with 5 GB RAM, OS X 10.5.2
Audio files sometimes work, and sometimes there's no sound at all. This occurs while using the same audio.
Selecting a media file (JPEG) displays correctly most of the time as part of the actual theme, but sometimes nothing shows up when selecting the media file.
The number of themes that take advantage of some new features is very limited.
It's a good idea, but a poor implementation so far. IMO, as it is now, it was not worth the discounted upgrade fee.
we believe the sound disappearing problem has been found and fixed in 1.0.1

I may upgrade just to take advantage of the current upgrade price, but don't think that PulpMotion Advanced 1.0 is worth it at the moment.
The advanced features are really good. Some could have been part of a regular PulpMotion update IMO. Others are limited even in the Advanced version. For example, only 4 themes actually support "Regions of interest"
With many software titles I'm happy to upgrade, and I like reasonably priced upgrades that add considerable features.
In the case of Aquafadas, my first disappointment was BannerZest's upgrade price. I kept the regular version.
Again, I may upgrade this one and hope that it truly evolves, but so far I'm disliking Aquafadas' approach regarding their "Pro" versions.

What if someone purchased the non-advanced version several weeks ago and hasn't heard about the new update for whatever reason (people are busy)... and a month from now they go to get their special upgrade... why on earth shouldn't they be able to get it? Or six months from now?
Aquafadas knows *when* you bought the software, so if you bought it before-hand in 2008, then pretty much that offer should have no time-limit as long as you have proof of purchase. They're trying to squeak in extra profits everywhere they can, for a product that frankly has a lot of competition. I understand it's business and I don't deny the product itself is decent quality, but the pricing system is FUBAR IMO.
