This app is also a great value. Topofusion is $60, and indeed, it has more features than this program...but the ones I use the most are on myTracks - so that is really important. At $14, this app can't be beat. I'm very pleased. Thanks.

After importing the tracks and organizing your photos it is comfortable that the scrolling and zooming within the map is fast and smooth. With the last update, also smooth zooming with my Mighty Mouse is supported which makes live much easier :)
I like also that so many different gps-tracker are supported out of the box.
When there exist a problem the support is fast and helpful.
5 Stars ... absolutely!

The software took me about 3 minutes to be reading tracks off the logger.
If you have a Gisteq device and use Macs. I highly recommend this!

Only one thing you should know: I was used to droppping photos onto a similar tool, then adding the gpx tracks, and done.
But in myTracks, as the focus is on organizing the gpx tracks, you first need to add the tracks, and only then drop photos into it.
That was a tad confusing at first...
And remember to ask myTracks to write the geotags back into the files!

I can edit GPX tracks. I have started to use a GPS logger to geocode photos, but find that in the city with tall buildings all around, it sometimes"drifts" by 10 or 20 metres from my actual position. Rather not geocode a photo with an erroneous location, I can edit the track before geocoding. My only request is the ability to edit multiple points at once, rather than one-by-one.
I can determine where I was at a specific time, and I can determine what time I was at a specific point. And I can do this from the raw GPX data, without having to convert to KML and use Google Earth (which doesn't work as well as myTracks for this purpose, anyway). My only request (and it may be a limitation of Google Maps) is a higher zoom level so I can see more details.
