Invisible Script Pack... Three separate AppleScripts that allow you to interact with invisible files without having to relaunch the Finder.

Open Invisible Item: This script does exactly what it says. It allows you to choose and open an invisible file or folder.

Delete Invisible Item: This script allows you to send an invisible file or folder to the trash.

Toggle Item Visibility: This script will toggle the visibility of a file or folder.

Fixed an issue with Snow Leopard not showing invisible files in the open file dialog.

Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.4 or later (probably works in earlier versions of OS X, but is untested)

Very nice! A recent round of updates somehow flagged the root directory of my hard drive as invisible. I could still access it by the "Go to" command, but that was about it. Drove me nuts. I installed the developer tools, but apparently Setfile doesn't like messing with the root directory. However, this little script correctly reset the visibility attribute! Thank you very much sir, you're a gentleman and a scholar!
