OpenThesaurus Deutsch overview
The OpenThesaurus Deutsch extends Apple's Dictionary application (Dictionary.app) with a German thesaurus.
- You can search for every synonym not just the primary word.
- You can search for parts of a hyphen delimited term or a word which is not located at the beginning of a term (as Dictionary normally does).
- This is a offline dictionary, so you don't need an Internet connection.
The dictionary content is based on the online dictionary by Daniel Naber.

- Font selection has been reduced, as the dictionary app only supportes system fonts.

I strongly dislike the idea that I must enter my user password to install this. Other Dictionary plugins simply have to be moved into the Library>Dictionaries folder so there is no possibility of unlocking my computer for malware .

Such a great plug-in! Just an add-on to the standard dictionary and not a separate application. Hopefully the GE-EN Dictionary will get an update soon as well.

Archive appears to be damaged. Archive Utility extracts a .cpgz file. bunzip2 extracts a .dmg with a "trailing garbage after EOF ignored" warning; opening it won't find a filesystem.

The developer uploaded a file that makes Safari go nuts. Fills a page with code instead of downloading normally. And there's no way to contact the developer.
