iEyeNet has been inspired by the venerable STG (SNMP Traffic Grapher) for Windows. iEyeNet shows a real-time upload/download graph for an interface on your router. Monitor the Internet usage of ALL your computers on the network, not just one at a time.

iEyeNet supports automatic interface discovery, automatic router discovery, average vs. immediate graphing, adjustable average interval and lots more.
What's New
Version 0.96:
  • Now shows the interface being monitored as well as the hostname / IP address. This will help those who run multiple instances per network device.
  • Re-arrange the Back panel to be slightly less confusing.
  • Various bug fixes

This is a great find!

now if I could just figure out how to track what DHCP client is doing what traffic. (not even sure SNMP can do that yet, i'm a N00b to SNMP)

Excellent utility. Simple to use -- great features.

Only wish it were a bit more compact (smaller) and more attractive graphically. Love the neutral dark background etc., but wish the type and chart area were smaller as I have a full Dashboard display.

Deeply appreciate the talents and generosity of the developer -- truly a great job!!!

Sorry to all of those who tried this widget on 10.4 as it was incorrectly marked as being incompatible. Please accept my appologise for the mixup. The most recent release is marked as 10.5 only although this doesn't appear to have been updated on Macupdate yet.

Please make sure you only attempt to run this widget on 10.5. It DOES NOT work on 10.4 Tiger.

Looks good, but it doesn't work with Airport routers.

Nor does it work for me. Just sits there, amongst my other, working, widgets displaying "Timeout: No Response From".

So much for recommendations from the Cool OSX Apps site.

I had this happen to me too on my DD-WRT router and after being frustrated by it for a minute or two I decided to change the SNMP community field in the settings screen of the widget.

Even though I had my router SNMP set to public and the widget show public in the SNMP community field I erased what was there and retyped it and then went back to the widget and it all started working. I don't know why it worked after doing that but it did so give it a try!

Great! Thanks!

FYI, your homepage link above should be updated to http://www.digitician.com.au/. And the download link grabs 0.96.2, not 0.95.

Not working for me... OS X 10.4.10, MacBook connecting via wireless to a NetGear router at 192.168.1.1. It hangs on "Discovering your router..." even after I manually entered its IP. I don't know if I need to change some setting on the router, or what.
