The Readme is pretty straightforward. Yes, there are a couple of things to do, but just because it's no point and click doesn't mean it's difficult. I've read the other reviews and can't really understand the harsh tone. The neccessary steps are clearly written down. This was the first time I ever activated the build-in webserver, and guess what - instant success.
For all those who need to be taken by the hand this might be helpful:
http://fx-gp.seesaa.net/article/116257852.html (Step-by-step-instructions)
Or contact the author: http://www.markburgess.us/ShokadoWebSharing/docs.htm
Now if only filemaker Inc would make this a standard feature - with input, that would be just perfect - and probably cannibalize their filemaker market, which is why we will have to live with workarounds like Shokado Web. A good workaround, this is.

I just spent a half hour following directions for terminal commands, config file editing etc. I followed the instructions exactly. Now web sharing doesnt work let alone this bento solution. I go to my _____.local/~username site and i get an error. Thanks dude. Not only is my time wasted but now I need to figure out how to get web sharing un-screwed up. Couldn't you at least make an installer script to do all of this for your users? Remember? This is a database solution for non-geeks. People who will want to share their database but will not know the first thing about the terminal.
