Awesome, does exactly what it says swiftly and easily. Would be nice if you could change the bit rate as sometimes you you want the file in 320kbps and sometimes in 96kbps, hope that feature gets added

This app is extremely useful and extracts mp3 sound from videos for free, with no strings attached, which I like a lot. But when there are a mass of videos with different audio bit rates, the extractor messes up and assumes the same bit rate for all the videos, causing extraction problems. Otherwise, awesome and helpful.

If you have a .vlc file you can try to rename it .flv then the program may work. It did for me, on MacBook Intel 10.5.5
Be carefull:
- Version 0.4.2 is PPC/Intel compatible and for 10.4 or later
- Version 0.4.1 is for Intel Macs only.

Great utility app! I had an FLV file that was really just an embedded MP3 and iExtractMP3 was precisely the correct tool for extracting the MP3 without question.

hi! i just d/led the iextractmp3 program, but i have no idea how to use it!!!
i need to extract audio files from youtube for a MAC, so if anyone can give me directions, it would be greatly appreciated. as you can tell, i have no skills with computers, and i have no knowledge on computer lingo. when the program tells me to drag flv files, i dont know what to do. how do i drag the vid and from where? do i have to download it first?
can anyone tell me!?
btw, if im posting this in the wrong place, i apologize in advance!
