MagicDesktopSwitch... You can use MagicDesktopSwitch to set your Desktop Image to your current screen saver or to return your Desktop Image back to normal. MagicDesktopSwitch acts like a screen-saver switch for your background. MagicDesktopSwitch only stays open while you make your selection from the dialog box. Then it quits until you open it again to switch your desktop back to normal.

What's New
Version 1.1 has been updated to be able to start your screensaver background automatically at login. Just drag and drop your MagicDesktopSwitch app into the LogIn Items under your username in your "Accounts" System Preference pane. The icon has a fresh new Leopard look, and the dialog box has been simplified.
Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.4 or later, may not work with every version of OS X.
Using Lion and it works fantastically~! very easy to use as well~! ^_^ Has not crashed yet, and has not slowed my system down even in the slightest. The only problem I see with it is if you use the transparent menu bar, the screensaver will stay frozen in that area, but that area only. Other than that, a great program ^_^
I amend my last post, it seems that if you use spaces and switch between them, it will stop magicdesktopswitch and go back to your original wallpaper. So if you only use one desktop anyway, fatastic app, but if you use spaces constantly as I do, just a bit of fun and something to show off to your relatives that are not in the least bit tech savy and jealous... ¬¬ heh
