$400, is this a joke? Guitar Rig 4 Pro costs just $170 , and is a far more complete and mature product. I mean, you can get Komplete 6 for $500!!!

Their regular prices are absurd, and their license resale policy is also quite expensive.
I've only bought IK products when they've been heavily discounted (75%-80% off), but for the most part I avoid IK these days.
The sound quality of some of their products and amp models is quite good.

Pretty neat, however I can't help but wonder WHY, since you can buy a modeling amp for about the same money or less.

While Amplitube won't help you at a gig as a modeling amp would, you've got multiple-intances and automation which are helpful in studio/recording situations.

That's true Flavum, but Amplitube seems to be a resource hog so people who need multiple instances of a modeling plugin are better off with alternate products. I use TH2 in those situations since it seems to be more efficient. I also have GTR and Guitar Rig. I do have a few free versions of Amplitube but never use it. 3.5.1 was just released and is available as a free version. They dropped PPC support.
