iFuntastic is an application for Macintosh which lets you customize your iOS device's user interface and copy files to and from the device. Some functionality is available to out-of-the-box devices (custom ringtones (phones only,) use as a USB Storage Device, copying screenshots and wallpaper,) but the really cool stuff requires the phone to be jailbroken (see below.)
You can download the application for free and explore it, but to actually do something useful, you will need to activate one or more feature levels. Activation usually requires a purchase through PayPal (account
What's New
Version 6.6.5 (beta 17):
Added support for iOS 5.1.1, new iPad and iTunes 10.6.1.
"the application that turns your iPhone into your iPhone!"
This is not a description. What does this app actually do? Even looking at the developer's website I can't tell what this thing does except make my iPhone look cr@ppy.
Developer is unresponsive to concrete issues with software. Software is buggy, downgrades bootloader without notification. Documentation is limited at best. IPhone becomes unstable over time.
just purchased this after getting an iPhone for Xmas-it broke my iTunes 7.5 making me Force Quit 5 times and being unable to restore the iPhone. This left me with an iPhone that would not boot without the "connect to iTunes picture". I had to use my iMac to restore the iPhone and then re-register it on my iBook. Not impressed and don't think I'm going to try it again $25 wasted it seems. I followed ALL instructions to the letter until iTunes froze and would not let me Restore.
in my early days with my ipone i killed the phone with this software. spend nearly 5 hours to bring it back - my suggestion is to use some free tools, have a look at iNdependence or iBrickr (for windows).
This is one of the ugliest pieces of software for the Mac that I have seen in a long time -- but yet quite useful if you want to administer or edit content on your iPhone...!
But even though it says "support for iTunes 7.5" it wouldn't work at first, but instead asked me for an older framework ...!? After that it worked okay...
Oh, and charging for each and every useful feature now seems a bit weird, although I do understand that people need to make money...but then at least get someone to put a decent GUI on that app and maybe even get it localized...!?

So if you have more than one phone in the household, you need to fork up $$$ for EACH and EVERY device you have. That is crasy!
Never gonna happen with my creditcard!
