What's New
Version 6.1.6:
Represents an interim step in our work in updating our code for OS X. Helix RADE 6.1.6 is a compatibility release designed for interoperability with our OS X native Helix products.
Requirements
PPC, Mac OS 9.1 or later, or Mac OS X with Classic Mode.
Classic is being phased out.
It also runs on Intel and will transition to OS X this year (it's been slow because there's a vast amount of work required).
Don't say "late" 2010! The survey results aren't posted yet and the next The Latest Word will be 30th April. Hopefully it'll announce the RADE Preview Release.
Classic?! How can we run Classic? There's no Classic on current Macs. So one has to go out and find an old Power PC Mac and then an old version of OSX or even older OS9.
Wow.
So I guess it's not 64 bit then. ;-)
Ah, maybe this is an April Fools.

Helix RADE contains the complete development and end user environment, making the initial cost for production very low. Should the business or application requirement grow, the application can be deployed as a client/server solution by purchasing a Helix Server license.
