Drag2DV lets you convert a video file to DV by simply dragging and dropping. Works with many videos dragged at once. Very useful for videos taken with Sony photo cameras that iMovie or FinalCut do convert but without sound. Also, unlike similar apps this one is free! This version is PAL only, watch for further versionsthat will support NTSC.

PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later

Excellent. What I've been looking for for ages:
A small program, which encodes my VOB files directly to DV, preserving as much quality as possible, so I can use them with Final Cut. Awesome, it just works.
I wonder if the developer has any idea that the application is capable of this? :)
Seems to work flawlessly.
