Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.3 or Mac OS X 10.4, Apple's X11.
This reminds me of OpenOffice a few years back..... LOADS of potential... but not a serious contender at the moment...
Once they ditch X11, and make it a bit more 'Mac' it will defiantly be worth another look... would be great to see real Exchange support (as opposed to IMAP) as well as tight integration with Exchange Calendars and Address-Books.
Evolution is probably the best email client out for *nix. It's a shame that it's X11 based on OS X. I really would like to see a fully native version. It would make for a very nice alternative to Apple Mail or Entourage.
Evolution being available for OS X is a very welcome sight. It installs and runs fine, though the description should mention that Evolution requires X11.
