It's ridiculous how much I -- an adult -- am enjoying this game. A game I bought for my kid!

It has the right message. It's fun and fast. Great musical score (really great!). And terribly cute.

Make sure to see the extras they have on they website: t-shirt transfers, book markers, and wallpapers.

The developers are very nice too. They sent me bigger versions of the wallpapers (1900*1200 for a iMac 24') in about one hour.

By the way, the yellow penguin team is nasty! You really have to use all the fish and snowballs in them. And don't be afraid to send them to the orca.

It's good to see FPS games comming to Mac.

Penguins Arena is the perfect game for a little break after work.
My son love it too, and I honestly can't think of a FPS I can play with him beside this one...

virtualruffy had trouble on 01 Apr 2008

Started to a black screen for about 10 secs then crashed out.
OSX 10.3.9, dual 2 GZ G5,4 GB RAM, GeForce 6800 Ultra w/256 MB,30" Apple display, 100 GB free on drive. Nothing else running.
Looks like it would be fun to play. Will try on another system.

Star-Affinity had trouble on 17 Sep 2007

Impressive. This game manages to *TOTALLY FREEZE* my MacBook Pro when loading the first level. Can't force quit with Cmd + option/alt + esc. Have to force shut down the computer by holding down the power button. Feels like I'm using a Commodore 64 or something... but hey! It's 2007 and I'm on Mac OS X!
It would be better if the games freezing power was used to re-freeze the melting arctics. :P

We're very sorry, there a bug with Macbook Prowhen playing in fullscreen. We'll try to fix it in a future update, please pplay it on windowed mode on Macbook Pro.

Sedna utters them that there is room for but one tribe. And so the purging begins. Then it's the player's turn to join the snowball battles and drive the other tribes into the sea.
