StayWidget is a simple, but useful application that allows you to store your favourite widgets on your desktop for fast access. They all work on your desktop as they would do in Dashboard. StayWidget also includes an Instruction Manual and a Uninstall feature.

It's just a terminal hack defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES but it's useful, thanks.
