What's New
Version 2.0: Release notes were unavailable when this listing was updated.
I am curious as in why the twitter is not working? Perhaps you can shed some life to it? We have the twitter service since 2007 when we developed the service and upgraded the program, solving all those related issues raised.
At US$29.90, with no annual fee nor subscription fees to pay. I am sorry that you find it expensive.
I purchased the software and installed it on my new MacBook Air. It works great, it is great to actually see the application working as you can test it out and simulate a theft, have it send you video along with all of the network data and it comes straight to you.
I gave this a 4 out of 5 because the installation was a bit of a pain. You have to do some copying and pasting and wait for an email to come to you. Other than that it works great. I have not implemented the Twitter feature yet, but will get to that when I actually setup a Twitter account.
I installed this software a few weeks ago when i got my new macbook.
It dose not work consistently, only works sometimes (about 4 in 10 times).
It dose not ask for the password when you boot up.
But when it dose ask for the password it dose not ask strait away and then the 'type password box' appears in the background so you can not see it. It then locks up your computer and you must restart it.
This program is just annoying and a nuisance.
You are better off having a log in password for security.
the password will pop up whenever there is a stable internet connection. This is so that the captured information (IP address, video) will be able to be sent out.
Please feel free to email me if you have any problem again.
I bought the software from another reseller and installed this version easily. Really cool to see your own face captured by the isight when I forgot to enter the password and the list of wireless networks nearby too when i received the email alert.
I don't use twitter but good to have it send to your cell too for those that are familiar blogging.
