AutoResizer is a free tool which automatically does the following:
- Finds all image files in the source folder
- Resizes the images to your new dimensions
- Change formats (JPG, PNG, or TIFF)
- Add a prefix and/or postfix
- Puts the resulting images into your destination folder
(your originals images are untouched)

I like that it's a simple step to add text to the filename.
I like that it puts the results in a separate folder.
What I don't like:
- no progress bar
- the ads
- random crashes: sometimes it just gets in a huff - following a crash it will process the same batch of pics the next time (ie not the images' fault), and others it won't do any of them. There's no feedback on why it hasn't worked.

I suggest just a little addition that would make it really great: i'd like to add it to my osx windows toolbar, and that it were drag and drop enabled.

With regard to MOK.IN.TOUCH's comments about the author keeping Autoresizer on Macupdate's list for reasons having to do with added Exposure, i must tell you that the author has been diligently adding features that i and other's have requested and THIS is why you see it listed almost daily.
