what is it about lava lamps that are so hypnotic? mmmmmmmmmm.....

My Dashboard crashes when this widget is installed. Using Safari 4 developer preview though, so that may be the underlying cause (since Dashboard relies heavily on WebKit).

Anyone else having this problem with this version of the widget?

Some folks like widgets, me I can't stand the clutter.

Any chance of making this a stand-alone application or desktop toy?

Widgets can be used on the desktop. There is a special widget that lets you drag it to the desktop as you close the dashboard. Sorry - can't remember the name. Ask around....
