Dinky Dungeon is a 50+ level Old-School 2D dungeon RPG. Choose a character and adventure to find the missing Pearls of Wisdom. Interface uses mouse only. Over one hundred total different Monsters, Items, Weapons, etc......
What's New
Version 1.0:
Fixed bug which prevented 'End' screen from showing
Requirements
PPC, Mac OS X, at least 1GHz processor.
This reminds be of Temple of Apshai. Anyone remember that? Of course in ToA there was much less needed in the way of system overhead. Imagine... 1Ghz needed to play this?! Whoa. There's something not quite optimized going on here. Still as most Macs of today are well over this requirement I have no real hard issues. Lots of old skool fun to be had.
Dinky Dungeon sadly will be only PPC (Carbon) native - due to the choice of development tool. However - even on my intel mac mini it runs fine through Rosetta. I hope to make Dinky Dungeon II a Universal Application.
Shows a lot of promise. Question for dev: I died and continued on the 6th level, and all but the blue teleport pad disappeared. Is that a bug, or is it supposed to happen?
