What's New
Version 1.0.4:
New Graphic, Updated Coding.
Works with Leopard
Works with Snow Leopard
Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later
Simple and handy, but would be nice if it offered hot key activation as well as activation from the dock.
WinSwitch, also free, is another approach to switching to your log-in window; it's based on OS X's Fast user Switching and activates the log-in window via the menu bar. It offers hot key activation as well, and has a few more little neat features, too.
I'm now using Lock Desktop along with WinSwitch, since it adds accessibility from the Dock.
Excellent little utility for securing access to your desktop.
Quick & simple, just click on it, and a second later your desktop is secured as if you had logged out, but any work in progress is preserved, and your apps stay open.

I'm going to add a key-stroke feature for those who are interested.
