Image Upload widget is the easiest and quickest means by which to upload and share pictures over the internet.

By simply dropping a picture file onto the Image Upload widget, your image is uploaded privately and free of charge to ImageShack, its direct Web link is converted into a short, web-friendly TinyURL and copied onto your pasteboard ready for action.

After locating the picture file that you wish to upload, click and begin dragging it with your cursor, and while continuing to hold down your mouse button, bring up your dashboard - by default, by pressing the F12 key. Drag the picture file so that it is above the more...

Very slick. Would it be possible to implement some sort of status indicator or progress bar with a timeout if left hanging? Also, I would very much like to be able to drop several images to the widget and have it return several lines of urls in the clipboard and have an option to choose formatting options for the url such as html, bbcode, besides the direct url.

This doesn't seem to work under 10.6.1. It looks like the file transfers (I can tell by iStat Menus) but the widget just spins forever... something is getting stuck.

i drag an image on the widget and get only endless "Uploaging" message, though there is no outgoing data indicated this time. when i upload the image manually at the imageshack web site it is done nice. so, the widget doesnt work for me. intel imac 10.4.9

I'm experiencing the same with this endless upload loop. This happens since I've upgraded to MacOS 10.4.10. and connected via Airport of my MacBook Pro.

Works very well, but doesn't know what to do when a file other than an image is dropped on it. I have to reload the widget in order to cancel.

I hope it has functionality built-in to detect if an update is available :)
