LH-ABC is a BitTorrent client based on ABC.
It includes many extra features like ipv6 support, encryption support, RSS feeder, Command scheduler, and more.
>>>download splited files
what do you mean?
If you mean selective downloading then Torrent Details-> File Info -> Right click on files to set their priority, including never download.
Let me know if you're talking about something else ;)
>>>"Couldnt find an available port to listen on. Would you like LH-ABC to try using another port ?"
This message means LH-ABC couln't bind the listening port.
This usually means the port is used by some other application.
When you get this message and press "Yes", LH-ABC will try to use the next port (+1).
If you choose "No", the GUI will come up (giving you the opportunity to change your network preferences), but any attempt to start a torrent will bring up the error (it shouldn't, I will fix it).
Please change your port to some other value and test it again.
Some other hints:
- Don't set ipv6 on if you only have ipv4
- Don't set UPnP if you don't have a router / your router doesn't support it.
After some more testing I realized the GUI can't come up because of the last error.
In case the problem is really the listening port:
- press 'Yes' when you get the first message.
- If that doesn't work, open Users//.LH-ABC/abc.conf with any text editor and:
A. change the 'minport' value
B. remove the 'bind' key and its value
