SafariTabs is a simple Safari plugin which extends Safari's current tab features.
One of SafariTabs' main features is tab restore support. Tab restore will automatically save all your open tabs and re-open them between launches of Safari.
Glad to have this working again in Safari 4.04.
Sure, there are other options which do more or less the same, but I like the simplicity and limited (but very useful) feature-set of this plugin.
Is it possible to add a feature of switching tab by mouse over?
That's the most sweet function offered by Firefox and I missed it so much after becoming a safari user.
Developer, I have a HUGE feature request that I think will be quite helpful to many users. There is (was) an add-on called "Twicetab" (see "Twicetab 1.3.1.1" here at macupdate), but it doesn't work on Safari 4. One of the optional features of TwiceTab that I desperately miss is the ability to make a URL (or domain name) in my clipboard open in a new tab. For instance, if I copy the text "http://www.google.com" or "google.com" and then double-click on an empty space in the Bookmarks Bar, it will open the Google home page in that new tab. However, if there is no URL or domain name at the top of my clipboard, the double-click action in the Bookmarks Bar will perform the user's default preference (home page, blank window, etc.) for a new tab. Whadaya say, guys? Hook us up!
Just installed this update, along with CosmoPod and TabExposé -- now I cannot use my mouseball/wheel to scroll up or down web pages while viewing them in Safari. I have yet to troubleshoot, but at least one of these three plug-ins is the culprit.
What am I supposed to do with this?
When I double-click on the bundle I get a dialogue that says "There is no default application specified to open the document "SafariTabs.bundle." Huh? There is an extremely long license but no information on how to install this.
In the latest version (0.3) there is a problem with the cooperation of SafariTabs with one of the functions of the Saft plugin. With Saft installed when you quit a tab in Safari you can restore/reopen it back with command+Z (its called Restore Closing Tab).. In the previous version of SafariTabs there was no problem. But in version 0.3 when you choose Restore Closing Tab or use shortcut command+Z it opens the same Tab/same webpage 2 times in stead of just 1 time.
I hope you can fix this issue, in the previous version there wasnt a problem like this one..

OK, I've provided a fix for this issue. Version 0.3 introduced undo support for closed tabs and going on your description of Saft's undo support its basically providing the same functionality. That means when both plugins (SafariTabs and Saft) are installed then pressing cmd-Z (undo) to restore a tab will execute both SafariTabs and Saft's code resulting in 2 new tabs as you described. Its not really a fix but I've added a new option in the plugin's preference pane to enable/disable tab undo support depending on whether you have Saft insatlled.
I currently don't have Saft installed on my system but I'm pretty sure the fix will work. I've made the new version available on my site and not MacUpdate as of now until I'm sure the fix works. I'd appreciate it if you would try it out and let me know how it works.
Seems a new bug has popped up in this latest release - the Google search in the menu bar no longer seems to work. When I type something in it, and then hit enter, nothing happens. Minute I uninstall SafariTabs all is well again.

I prefer its reopening of tabs to Glims, which seems to move the window around as well.

Read the requirements above;
Mac OS X 10.4 or later, SIMBL, Safari 4
Have you installed SIMBL?
In the time it took you to write your comment, you could have searched for it and installed it.
