This is a well done game.
I would say that you get what you expect, without being dissapointed.
Easy to control, nice graphics, nice gameplay.
You get the feeling that the developer knows what he is doing.
What I like most about this game is that you don't feel it's unfair to the player, like many games does.
A charming side scroller that will appeal to puzzle lovers. Suitable even for fairly young children with its cartoon characters and non-violent approach. Puzzles can be tricky. However, you can save at any point in the game, so there's hardly any reason to worry about 'lives'.
Dirk Dashing is a James Bond type character--not the Sean Connery version, but more along the lines of George Lazenby. He leaps, he throws sleep grenades, and is your loyal agent in solving puzzles.
A note about the puzzles, some of them are fairly tricky, but at least in the demo level you can exit a level without accumulating every diamond.
This will appeal to those who like Prof. Fizzwizzle, Prince of Persia, and puzzle games.
The characters are nicely rendered, the backgrounds are simple, but there is a nice sense of movement as Dirk dashes across the tree strewn landscape. The buildings could have prettier design, but you don't buy a game like this for pretty pictures, but for the puzzles.
