1Password already has an update out in which they move to using the supported extensions.
Both developers of Cosmopod and Web Snapper are working feverishly on updates. You can click over to the Tasty Apps site and read their blog entry regarding their efforts.

The in-app update release-notes don't show this either.

The simplest features I need (i.e. setting a specific pixel width for the capture) are non-existent. The output has ugly white margins added to it and background images/colors missing, as if the developer has hijacked Safari's printing system to export images as well. Some of the preferences don't stick when you hit “Save”, and others exhibit bizarre behavior (occasionally, choosing “Choose folder…” from the “Send to:” drop-down does absolutely nothing).
I've only used this app for about 10 minutes, but there's not point using it or reviewing it any further; it simply does not meet the needs of someone who needs to screenshot websites into PNGs in a WYSIWYG/pixel-for-pixel fashion.

It doens'ts put ugly white marges on the document, it is possible to set precisely the size of the final document with only minimal size, it will also copy background images, it will not crop the page like Web Snapper does ......

=======
Do you perchance have SafariStand installed on you machine? We've discovered recently that there's an incompatibility between SafariStand and Red Snapper on some user's machines. We're working with the developer of SafariStand to come up with a fix for this problem. For now, temporarily disabling one or the other will fix the problem, and allow you to modify the toolbar.
Red Snapper can be uninstalled by removing "Red Snapper.bundle" from the "/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins" folder, emptying the trash, and restarting Safari.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you.
