Well, I am a customer since quite a long time. But now the developer is forcing a lot of 2.2 customers to pay full price for an upgrade. Not a single cent rebate for existing customers of 2008. All have to pay the full price. I consider this a very bad cusotmer policy.
First, the price of the Suite is now $79.00, not the $69.00 listed above. That said, I must add that I would have liked to given this App a five-star rating--- It works (for the most part) like a charm. It is very easy to use. A user will never lack for information about the product; manuals/guides are everywhere. Support is rapid, first rate and personable. The only drawback for me is the fact that the 'Whois' search map of the "Who's There? Firewall Advisor" half of the Suite has never worked. It always displays a "cannot connect to server" notice. When I contacted the developer about this, I was told that they hoped to have this feature fixed in a future version.Great. How about my version, now? When I lay out seventy-nine dollars of my hard-earned money, I like what I purchased to work all the way, or at least be warned in advance that some features may not be available to me. Especially at the price charged.

Protect. Open Door's flagship DoorStop X Firewall builds on our decade's worth of experience with Macintosh security products to provide you with an easy-to-use, reliable application that protects your Mac from outside attack. At the same time, through its integration with other Suite products, the DoorStop X Firewall also helps you to learn about and understand both the details and the broader context involved.
Understand. The Who's There? Firewall Advisor goes beyond protecting your Mac to helping you understand and react to security "events" as they occur. By working with both the book and the firewall, Who's There? ties together the Suite products into an integrated whole, worth even more than the sum of its parts.
