Señor Staff is an open-source music composition app for Mac OS X. It features a staff-based interface (rather than a tracker interface) for natural entry and readability, and supports playback to any MIDI device. Yeah, finally a simple music notation thats is easy to use and free compared to Sibelius. Just one problem when I start the program up I almost pissed my pants. My muted internal speakers on my iMac played the loudest note it could ever have. Also my ipod earphones are almost broken because of it too. so I just turn off the playback.

I hope you get that fixed.

It works without problems here (intel, 10.4.9) The software looks really promising, and works well in its present state too. Looking forward to future releases!

While I don't get a "corrupt disk image" message when downloading this, the app just won't open for me. It starts to but then instantly quits.
Tried downloading from developer's site as well as MU but Senor Staff doesn't open.
OS 10.4.9.
