The "flapper" is a rare amphibian species found only in the mountain ponds of Tibet. Flappers are very sensitive to weather conditions and there are 3 things vital to their survival - FOOD, PLAY & SLEEP. Caring for flappers is a daily task, if you neglect them they will die. If you care for your flapper well, it may just grow into something else.

love my little flappie. no problems with him whatsoever. please, go to developer's website to learn more about these sweet creatures (see flappie faq).

Where do I start. I was all excited to have a little pet to take care of. I was so wrong. He was cute to begin with, and then got very very annoying. He is said to evolve, but i highly doubt that is true. My guess is that it is a joke saying he will evolve like humans did throughout millions of years. I made sure flappie was well feed, I always played with him, everything was perfect, but now he is dead. This was not worth my time, and unless there is an update to flappie, I will be deleting this widget.

I feel the same way. The best I've gotten is one heart. Then something I do or don't do kills him. I was attentive as I could be to him, but I've killed him at least 5 times. I just don't know what he wants! The sad part is that you get so annoyed with him that it's almost a relief when the little bugger finally kicks it.

I'm also disappointed with Flappie. He (she?) is fun at first but then NOTHING happens. The "evolve" teaser is just that... a tease. Even though Chrysalis is anticlimactic, at least the creatures do evolve as promised. Don't waste your time with this widget.
