This is a minor maintenance release of Frets on Fire. Various bugs were fixed and some performance improvements were made throughout the game. Most notably, Mac OS X support was brought up to date.

This is version 1.1.324 with the guitar hero+rf mod integrated in as much as possible. It will work with both ppc and intel macs as soon as you unzip it.
The background during song playing isn't correct, but this is leagues ahead (in my opinion) over the baseline dysfunctional .324 and .451.
I'm posting this because this game is great, but really needs a bigger fan base for more support.
I have no idea about the inner workings of the python code, but somehow I got this stuff to work.

I have a mac osx 10.3.9 (power pc g5)
I am using a 12" g4 1.5ghx powerbook OSX 10.4.9 768MG ram --> obviously ppc
I got build 324 from a forum and did the font replacement hack, and it works. Still, some of the fonts don't work and it occasionally crashes.
Is the developer just not committed to ppc anymore?

This was on a PPC Mac, by the way.

Right click on the application, select Show Package Contents. Under Contents/Resources/data replace the default.tff with another .tff file (obivoulsy you need to rename the new .tff file to default.tff).

Plus, the keyboard makes a decent (though dorky) guitar substitute.
Overall, perfectly does what it means to do and looks pretty good to boot.

Then in the Applications folder, right click "Frets On Fire" and select "Show Package Contents".
From the new window, browse to Contents/Resources/data, then select default.ttf and do File->Duplicate.
Next, in another Finder window, navigate to /Library/Fonts (not in your home directory, but from your hard drive root), copy Chalkboard.tff and paste it into the other Finder's directory.
Rename that new Chalkboard.tff to default.ttf, and you're done!
