My first two comments from before have been fixed, remembering the userid/password for protected pages and the limited recursion for off site pages, but in 2.6 now, I get a lot of crashes (and reports to Apple). Also interface is not very intuitive.

Thanks for your feedback. It would be nice if you send the crash reports to luis.d.silva@ieee.org

If you are experiencing problems with version 2.6, go to your user's Library folder and find all files that have OpenValidator in the name. Then move them all to trash.

1. Doesn't remember userid/password for password protected parts of site.
2. When enabling recursion, should it really go deep into other sites, ie non-owned but referred to sites? Maybe when you go offsite it should stop at level one.
3. Doesn't like to be stopped or quit when running. Had to "force quit".

Would love to try but v.0.13 crashes instantly on MacBook Pro C2D 2.33 GHz with 10.5.8.

Please fix this. Thx.

Instant crash upon launch. Reverted back to previous version 0.12.1 and that functioned just fine.

Mac Mini 2009, Mac OS X 10.5.8.

I tried it on a Dual G5 PPC checking a couple of pages on a local host (PHP generated HTML) - no problems at all - but a couple of very interesting errors/warnings I‘ve never seen before - and the App is right; my code was not correct.
My first impression: A useful and needed tool for a web-developer.

I'd just like to put in a good word for this software, which I've experimented with (light occasional use) since about version 0.6.

While the app seems to be coded in a nonstandard way (RealBasic?), and in spots its interface could be clearer, it's by far the strictest all-in-one HTML verifier/validator I've yet found for Mac -- sweating tiny details other validators don't even notice, and generating clear reports. It could prove very helpful to anyone interested in improving web page accessibility.

I've noticed all Intel versions of RWP I've tried have performed solidly; however I've been unable to get PPC versions to run since 0.7 or so. That said, though, I'd like only to encourage the developer, since this FREE software aims at a noble goal (to further democratize the web experience for all by improving accessibility). Thank you.

Tried it on my PPC Quad G5 with 10.5.6. All it does it crash. Went to their site, and tried to join the forum, but there is no place to register to join it.
