that will help you collect, store, and organize useful information such
as registration codes, serial numbers, product notes, addresses, and
phone or fax numbers and URLs for software authors, companies, and
distributors. Track all your computer products, including hardware,
software, freeware, and shareware. It now includes a much better online help system.
What's New
Version 4.2 adds the following:
- FileMaker Pro 7 is a brand new program which works very differently from previous versions. Consequently, Software & Hardware Tracker, in its present form, may not work properly when converted to the new ".fp7" format and used with the new engine. It's has only been tested with FileMaker Pro 5, 5.5 and 6 and is only supported on those platforms. To take advantage of FileMaker Pro 7, this solution will probably have to be rewritten from scratch. So it will take a while. In the meantime, since you can use both FileMaker Pro 6 and 7 on the same machine, please keep on using Software & Hardware Tracker with either FileMaker Pro 5.x or 6. Thank you once again for your support.
