The finder would keep popping up at the end of the copy saying that the file is in use and cannot finish.
This app just moves through the list of files and takes care of business.

Seems to be a major short-coming in a synchronization application.

"developer's comments appear to indicate this app does not do full (2-way) synchronization which results in updated equivalent directories."
This may have been true in version 1. The current 2.1 does full (2-way) synchronization by default.
Two-way synchronization may not be desirable for document package files, or instances where a Master's directory has been largely revised. The problem is old stuff coming back over from the Copy during synchronization.
The mirror option creates a "one-way" option that deletes any resources on the Copy that are not on the Master. Whether mirror option is used or not, matching files between the Master and Copy are still synchronized bidirectionally according to modification dates.

>>>>That said, FileSync DOES synchronize files it finds in the "copy" with those it sees in the "master", it compares modification dates and copies the more recently modified, whether it's on the master or the copy.
Any new files on the "master" not on the "copy" are copied to the "copy"; however new files on the "copy" are not copied to the "master". Again, another "safety" decision, I felt it important to leave the "master" alone unless it is entered as a "copy".
FileSync looks at fle modification dates and converts them to seconds. I believe these are rounded to the nearest minute as the Finder displays them. Hence, if you save and synchronize again within one minute, the modification date looks the same.

After some update of Word document, FileSync running on the iMac did not detected modification and then do not synhronize them.
I'm a little disappointed because this simple tool seems to fill my expectation in terms of files/folders synchronization: simple but unfortunalty not so efficient.
