DVD Releases Widget... Get up to date with the latest DVD Releases. Within its elegant interface you can move back and forward months to see the releases for each week. You can even see the box cover images in a multitude of sizes from tiny to large. There is also a tab for looking at the top 25 most popular dvds of the day. Lastly, there is a search function so you find the dvds you want.

I like this widget. Use it all the time. Version 1.02 no longer pulls down info. I'm guessing Amazon changed something on their end. The widget says an update is available, but the download link leads to a "search engine" web page. Anyone know where/how to get the latest version?
I like this widget. The little DVD spin at startup is a nice touch. It also seems to have some nice features. I like the DVD cover art as well.
A couple of things I would like to see added:
Add more review sites like IMDB as well as Amazon.
I am sure you are using Amazon's click through feature so that you get commissions to help pay for the widget and that is great but I like one button add to my Netflix Queue which only a site like IMDB.com offers. Plus I trust the reviews at IMDB more than Amazon's reviews.
I'd like to click on the title in your widget, be taken to IMDB.com for the review of the movie, peruse the review and click the big red NETFLIX button if I like it well enough to add to my Queue.
Also offering the ability to choose your sort order would be nice. Sort by release date, alphabetical, or movie rating would be nice as well.
All in all though still a very nice dashboard widget and a welcome addition to my dashboard.
Ok please forgive my idiocy above and replace all occurances of IMDB.com with movies.yahoo.com.
I think I must have just been looking at a review at IMDB.com when I wrote the comments in my previous posting. I actually meant to say add Yahoo Movie Reviews at movies.yahoo.com as an option instead of just the amazon reviews as I like them better. IMDB reviews would be great as well, but would still not give me the big red rent from Netflix button I am looking for.
Thanks!
