Aqua4iTunes restores Aqua to iTunes!

Version 3.5 includes 5 window styles with a preview window so you can see what it will look like before installing.

Both Aqua and Graphite gadgets are supported.

You can now change the application icon as well.

Window variations are:

I'm probably stating the obvious here, but it didn't work on iTunes 10.5.2

God and I thought I was the only one who didn't like DARK GRAY toolbars, menubars, scroll bars, windows, icons plastered all over my operating system lol. To listen to the sheeple that have jumped onboard the Apple bandwagon in the last couple years, DEFEND Leopard's latest GUI changes has been comical to say the least. Aqua sure wasn't perfect but it was a hell of a lot more vibrant and eye catching than anything Leopard or Snow Leopard has offered us to date. But tell that to the newest breed of mac user and he'll go out of his way to try and convince you that this "graphite" look isn't excessively dark, heavy and just plain boring looking.

Aqua4iTunes is a great program that should definitely continue being updated for OS X.

Just found this and I am a happy bunny again ! I hate or is that iHate the latest Apple interface - far too MICROS£$%T for me ! change for changes sake Apple - Nice one mr aqua4iTunes - when V4 comes out i will send you some beer tokens :-)

The only thing I wish is that the author would make older versions available on his website. After experimenting with some of the newer versions of iTunes, I've opted to go back to an earlier version. But I can no longer obtain a copy of Aqua4iTunes for the older version.

Stop whingeing! This guy does this for free. Updates regularly. What do you expect? He does a great job. Well done for allowing us to customise iTunes. 3 cheers. Hurrah!

No, I don't want to! And I already can and did customize iTunes manually with a resource editor to my liking: UNO Graphite.

What happened!? This new version sucks. Why did you remove the UNO variation? And Graphite can no longer be selected? Horrible, I'm better of copying resources manually.

So, let me guess - this is now broken for iTunes 7.3.1, isn't it? And it's probably going to do nasty things if you install it?

Well, requirements state that it THIS version of the fix requires iTunes 7.3.X. This should mean that it's safe to use with any variant of 7.3.xxxxxxxx. Right?

I just upgraded to iTunes 7.2 and now Aqua4iTunes does not work anymore. I tried recreating the iTunes 6 look in iTunes 7.2 and it there was an error it said:

ERROR: This Program requires iTunes 7.1 or later to be installed. I have iTunes 7.2 running on Mac OS X -- I have an Intel based Mac Mini with Mac OS 10.4.9 I hope there is an update coming to Aqua4iTunes soon. I remember last time Aqua4iTunes had problems with an iTunes update -- after installing AquaiTunes with iTunes 7.1.1 then when starting iTunes the Library would dissappear. Aqua4iTunes was fortunately updated fix the problem. This time the problem is that it cannot recognize iTunes 7.2.

Aqua4iTunes doesn't work with iTunes 7.1 (released today). Running it will break the "Library" view or any non-iTunes store view. Uninstall is also broken, much to my disappointment (Applescript error).

Aqua4iTunes isn't aware of case-sensitive partitions.
Paul, your scripts look for /applications/iTunes.app/contents/resources/ whilst on case-sensitive disks it should read /Applications/iTunes.app/Contents/Resources/ .
Manually opening the Aqua4iTunes.app application, extracting and copying one of the rcs does the job.
So I would be thankful, if you could change the path(s). Please :-)

I'm getting the same error. I tried unistalling my previous settings and then installing what I wanted and it worked once, but now is not working again.

Oh Dear! This killed my iTunes 7. Would not let me open iTunes. Error message saying need more memory. Also asked for authentication password and when entered asked me another 5 times before telling me it had aborted and I was unsuccessful. Same with every button chosen.

Me thinks this needs more work. Good intentions though by the developer. iTunes 7 is very ugly indeed.
