Very interesting start with fairly good retro-ish graphics. Unfortunately the collision detection seems to be not implemented yet (along with a bunch of other features), and when you fly through a barrier the soundtrack shuts off and there is a howling noise for a few minutes until the game gets back on track.
The option to have the background "pulse" is enough to make anyone feel seasick, though. i don't know why it's even there.
Once the game is polished up and everything is implemented (including joystick support) and all the misspellings fixed in menus, etc. -- I think it will be a fun game to play for a quick shoot-'em-up session.
the bug with the noise, should now be fixed. Please download the latest version (1.01) and test it. How do you get to this state? (At the beginning of the development I had this problem but not in the last two months - thanks for your answer)
