BBC ListenAgain Widget... This widget allows browsing and playing of the BBC's excellent archive of recently transmitted radio programmes. It lovingly gathers the ListenAgain archives into one list filtered by radio station or genre. There's no configuration, just make the tea, select a programme, close your eyes and think of Britain.

What's New

Version 3.5:

Fixed to work with another iPlayer change
Added local radio (55 stations in total)

Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.4 or later, RealPlayer 10.1. (RealPlayer 11 won’t work correctly, stops playing when Dashboard is closed.)

Is it just me or does this great widget no longer work under 10.6?

Well, I downloaded the new version but soon noted that the genre categories present in the version I was using- 3.2- have now been omitted. Now it's just listing the major stations.
I never had any problems with the earlier version and have consequently gone back to it.

A quick thank you for the fast fix for this widget. While it was broken, I used Safaris' generate-a-widget function to make a substitute, but missed all of the niceties that you built into this.

I'm happy to have it back.

This did have some problems for a short period but the update seems to have fixed all of them. I use this widget all the time.

Fantastic widget. Very easy to use, just select your station of choice, then listen live or select a previously broadcasted show. Not only that, the sound quality is excellent. My new favourite widget.

If it's not working it's almost certainly because you don't have Real Player installed and working. Install Real Player and email me if there's still a problem. Cheers.

I am also not able to get any sound, even though I have Real Player installed. I have a powerbook G4 1.25 GHz. Could you help?

Can you hear anything when trying to play streams direct from the BBC web page at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/index.shtml?button

If not then consult the BBC's troubleshooting pages, make sure you are updated to the lastest version of Real Player they recommend, that the Real player volume is turned up and not muted..

Thank you for your swift reply. I have tried all of your suggestions without success.
Is it possible that this widget only works with Power books with an Intel platform?

So you can't hear any streams direct from the BBC website?
Sounds like a problem with real player - try some of the suggestions here: http://www.google.com/search?q=bbc%20mac%20real%20player
