can not use this program since I'm getting the following error messages: Cannot get status of dashboardadvisoryd. AppleScript Error---The variable goodToGo is not defined. (-2753)

That would be because you don't have it running.. if you've disabled dashboard like I have then it won't be running at all. So you have nothing to worry about. :)
