restorebuttonlabels-photopro.user.js
It should work on any sites that insert html via javascript, i.e., any sites that don't respond to the userContent.css mod listed below.
The script corrects Gmail, Google Calendar and del.icio.us out of the box -- for other sites, just add them to the Included Pages list within Greasemonkey.
thanks again

This skin is amazingly simple and on its own focusing the concentration through its subtle darkness. Also the only dark theme that is "bearable" over longer periods of time- I believe the only thing beating this is going to be Leopard, that is, MAYBE ;-)...
Had some issues with the menu points being all dark while I am using a dark background as well... didn't quite work out the help the author seems to proivide for this issue in the theme- but I can live with that... there are no MAJOR glitches like in all the other dark apps...
thanks!

I'm with Philsh here, in that PhotoPro is the best dark theme. All others tend to clash with the environment like a poorly matched outfit. This is the first dark skin that I can keep installed. It feels native.
Minor issues:
1) Firefox doesn't use Cocoa-style buttons, but for some reason inherits the text color. This leads to white text on gray buttons that's almost unintelligible. This can be fixed by adding the following line to userContent.css:
input{ color: #333; }
This doesn't fix the color on buttons added via javascript, for sites such as gmail, del.icio.us, and others. I created a greasemonkey script that takes care of this, and will post a link here for when I find a place to host it.
I don't think this is something Palli Svansson can fix, since it's more of a Firefox-Cocoa issue.
2) The slider is missing from the built-in OSX color picker, used for various programs such as Adobe Fireworks 8, and many other programs for selecting foreground and background colors.
Despite these two issues, one of which I was able to correct, PhotoPro has become an indispensable part of my OSX environment. Thanks Palli!

Other dark themes have some gui problems, but I've not encountered any with PhotoPro. Plus, the developer updates his theme immediately whenever there's an Apple update that effects its performance.
Excellent work!
the theme looks really good, but i'm just a tiny bit frustrated with trying to fix these icons.
i thought, ok maybe this was an update, but from the comments i see everyone else seems to have no problem, what should i do?

So please follow the instructions carefully.
the problem was elsewhere : I use the theme in conjunction with "set alpha value" from parrot software to make app windows transparent. Certains settings of "set alpha value" for windows transparency just don't get along with theme.
works ok now, thanks for help
