NetLocation X... Tired of changing your /etc/hosts file every time you change network location, finding lookupd's pid and restarting it to clear its cache? This utility addresses these needs, especially if you own a laptop!
It lets you maintain different versions of your file, for as many "Network Location" you have configured. NetLocation X's monitor intercepts network change notifications sent by the kernel and updates your system automatically.
Doesn't work with Snow Leopard. First time you run it wants to configure locations to manage, and the box is empty.
Just before this is asks whether you want to check for updates automatically, with Yes as default. If you do this and then relaunch the app, it says '0.5.0 is available (you have 0.5.1)' and it hangs, hard.

Just one question. Why kill the lookupd process when you could just issue: lookupd -flushcache ?
