This codec plus Perian plus Flip4Mac's free component let virtually everything play in your QT apps.
Thank you!

I tried the same video same add-on on the G5 ppc, but everything runs smooth and fine. Any of you guys know i can get rid of this problem?
Please help, thanks a lot
Installed the Perian 0.5, works perfectly fine now.
One user reported ( http://trac.cod3r.com/a52codec/ticket/6 ) that this worked, but I have been unable to reproduce his results. Two things lead me to believe that this is the fault of the vob file importer and not the codec.
1) If you open a .mov or a .avi file without the component, then QuickTime Player shows a dialog box telling you that you are missing components. No such dialog with .vob files
2) Even if QuickTime Player is unable to find a codec, it still will shows the audio bars on the right if an audio track is present. No such bars.
I believe that Apple's vob file importer is not doing its job correctly. If this is the case, then the fault lies with them, not with the codec.
P.S. You would receive faster response if you post to the ticket tracking system than if you post here.

Well, if not, that one should contain the information you desire.
