Maybe Schoolhouse can learn something with http://www.getorganizedapp.com/ app.

It is aimed to be simple, yet effective for those who use it. Schoolhouse isn't designed to replace your task management skills, only allow you to have a central place for keeping track of your work. As a student myself, I tried to design it to keep track of when and what I need to do so that I don't have to remember.
Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "feature add like crazy", but if you have any requests for specific features or functionality I am always open to suggestions.
Thanks for the feedback!

It's a shame, because this has been an incredibly useful app and he used to be so responsive.

"... if you Get Info on the Schoolhouse app in ... the Finder, and Select the Rosetta option (to force the app to run in PowerPC compatible mode), it works fine. This is a temporary solution for everyone who can't access there [sic] stuff anymore."

I advise patience: the author (who I do not know) makes this beautiful app available for free; plus, he's apparently a student himself, right in the thick of things at present. He's likely heard the screams though, and may already be working on a fix. But in the meantime, let's cut him slack and remain thankful for this gift, though it be (temporarily) unusable through no fault of his.

Until the bug is fixed, this is my workaround: I make an assignment under my top course, regardless of what course it's supposed to go under. I make all the necessary changes for the assignment, then I change the course assignment in the right panel. It's not too bad if you create all of your assignments at once.
As for a feature request, I'd like some sort of spreadsheet view for my grades (like 1 column for each grade type). This is how I've been organizing my assignments in Numbers for the past year, and it's really convenient because I can see all of my grades and can easily enter new grades just to see how they might affect my overall grade.
