I have been looking for a way to Maximize windows on a Mac since Mac OS 9, and now I have it!

For those of you who had trouble with it, you have to keep the scripts as .scpt type files and launch them using a utility that will run Applescripts.

I have used this for about 6 months and I can not live without it now!

Since installing Leopard now though, it won't write the preference file when it is first run.

I have the same issues here. The scripts don't do anything useful, even though I've followed the instructions to the letter. All they do is just open the Script Editor.

I tried saving the scripts as "Run-Only", but that didn't help at all.

I wish this could work - it's a cool idea and it's something which could work perfectly with Butler. Pity it's unusable.

There is one requirement not listed. When launching the script or accessing it from Butler, it asks for the location of Microsoft Word. Why? Even when I pointed it to a copy of the Word classic application, it merely opens the Script Editor. When trying to run it in the Script Editor, it produces an error caused by Word class definitions being inaccessible. I liked the idea for the scripts but wasn't keen on having to hack them up to rid them of the Word dependency.
