FishBase Client is a tool for quickly accessing information on the FishBase web site by species, genera, common name, and family. I use FishBase a lot, and needed a quick way to get the information I needed. Perhaps you'll find it useful, too
What's New
Version 1.2.2:
  • Now defaults to Fishbase.org (common name search at .de mirror appears to be broken, so previous default may cause problems)
Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.2 or later.

Not everyone has 10.4, why needlessly limit your market?
