SpeedIt continuously monitors the CPU usage level and dynamically adjusts the CPU frequency, throttle and/or voltage level as needed and/or defined.
What's New
Version 0.5: Release notes were unavailable when this listing was updated.
Requirements
Intel, Intel Mac. Tested on MacBook Pro at 1.83 GHz , MacBook Pro at 2 GHz, Mac Mini and iMac.
Avoid, has bad code. Will cause low level damage. Not compatible with recent builds of OSX Tiger. Disabled my Audio so I had to do an archive and backup reinstall on my MBP to fix it. Not surprising that development has stopped on this dangerous program.
It does a lot more but the prefpanel doesn't seem to be included so you have to use the command line. I'm guessing that this isn't submitted by the developer because it's not ready yet.
